Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting fidget toys, coloring books, counseling games, warm lightening, LED lighting, and a warm rug. In order to transform a cold, lifeless, dull classroom into an inviting therapeutic counseling space. I inherited this classroom that will now be utilized for individual counseling, group sessions and crisis management.

My students deserve and need these items and a space that induces calmness, that helps them self-regulate and that creates comfort in time of need.

Additionally, I am requesting colorful pillows and bean bags for a soft landing during these difficult times.
