My Project

Oklahoma can be blustery, with freezing rain, snow and ice! Our hard working students come to after school clubs hungry and cold! A fire place, and snacks would warm them up as they participate in clubs. At this school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. To combat the cold, and hunger, we are requesting a fireplace to take the chill out of the air and snacks to fill their tummies. Clubs meet after school four days a week and serve every grade level. The majority of students at our school family are from low socioeconomic families, and often both parents are working so students come to school early at 6:30 a.m. and stay until the after care program ends at 6:30 p.m. This is a very long time for our kiddos!

We would like your help to purchase an fire place to heat up our room and snacks for the care pantry to serve while they participate in clubs, and storage containers to store them in.
