Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students come from low income homes and during the winter sometimes they find themselves not prepared for cold wet weather.

I would like to have emergency rain gear for students to use to stay dry and beanie hats to stay warm in.

The resources requested in this project include disposable rain ponchos that the students will keep, knit beanie hats to keep their heads warm, which students can also keep, and some umbrellas that students will be able to borrow and return.

These resources will keep my students warm and dry which will lead to them staying healthy and not missing school due to illness that could have been avoided.
