My Project

We recently finished our first quarter of the school year. My first graders are excited about learning new things and having new experiences in the classroom. Unfortunately, many of my students’ families are struggling financially due to the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic, and winter is quickly approaching. The temperatures are already pretty chilly.

I would like to be able to give my students a warm blanket and a book to read.

They could use the blanket to keep warm on chilly days. I added a book, so that they can curl up in their blanket and read a good book. I love sloths and I know my students will love having their own sloth book.
