Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Today's economy is being felt everywhere and education is no exception. As money is taken from schools, schools are unable to purchase some of the necessary supplies.
The fourth and fifth grade students I work with are wonderful kids that come to school every day wanting to learn more.
They are primarily from low income families and have a second language other than English. They are always excited about learning and new opportunities. Being prepared with basic supplies is instrumental to their success, it helps them be organized and prepared without the worry and stress of having pencils, paper, and other materials. Starting each day with a clear mind and a happy heart makes our learning more effective.
My Project
These bare essentials will help us in our reading and writing every day. Each of the items requested for this project such as table tubs, pencils, notebooks, etc. have a specific purpose and will help the students with organization, productivity, and general learning. Basic supplies may seem like such a trivial thing, but being prepared, organized, and starting each day off right can make a huge difference in how productive each day will be.
Basic supplies are essential for every classroom.
Having the essentials will make each day run smoothly and each lesson easier to teach and learn. With your help in getting the necessary materials we will be able to concentrate more on learning. Thank you for your generosity in contributing to our project.
