My students need a Gradestuff PE resource set, a set of hula hoops and a set of hoop holders.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Young's classroom raised $510
This project is fully funded
I teach elementary school physical education in an area of high poverty in North Carolina. I have around 250 awesome kids that I would love to provide the best PE experience I possibly can.
Our school does not have a gym, so weather permitting, we are outside as much as possible. We have very little quality equipment at my school and I would love the opportunity to introduce team sports to my older students.
With new equipment, I would be able to introduce my students to a variety of team sports but also be able to offer alternatives such as jump rope and hula hoops for those students as well. I believe team sports teach good sportsmanship as well as good social skills to students. These are skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
Helping to provide equipment to my students will make it possible for them to not only be active in my PE class but also, through team sports learn social skills that will follow them for many years to come. Thank you so much!
