Wanted: New Dramatic Play Accessories for Kindergarten Students
Help me give my students new dramatic play items to enhance their play experience. Real life objects like a telephone, register and appliances will make their playtime more purposeful and engaging!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help my students add some new materials into our dramatic play center. In my school we are bringing back the fun in learning. My amazing kitchen area, sometimes a store, a walk in center, a farm stand or even a Dr. office is lacking compared to the other classrooms in my grade.
My students would like to real life objects to add to their dramatic play center.
A phone, cash register, doll clothes, appliances, and some food they can practice cutting in half would all enhance the short part of their day where they can realistically play and pretend they are adults. The learning in this center is nonstop and I want to be able to provide them more tools to build on their experiences
