My Students

Two words to describe my Kindergarten students are "Endless Possibilities"! These students are energetic, optimistic, and fearless! They love trying new things and can get excited by the prospect of blocks, books, balls, glitter, and new friends to share these incredible experiences with!

They are willing to try new things and by so doing they soar to new heights!

Each day is truly a new adventure and they are the super hero in every story! They have such a refreshing perspective and are eager to share their discoveries with everyone!

My students enthusiasm for learning can be summed up by a wise 5 year old kindergarten student as he said something along the lines of, "Teacher, today is going to be such a fun day I know we will do great things today!" How can you not love an outlook on life like that?

My Project

Kindergarten students have a refreshing and unparalleled level of exuberance as they come into the classroom each day. They love using their hands and sometimes even their entire bodies as they create never before seen creations with blocks, marbles, and magnets. My young students come alive as we explore the world through books and then allow them to build on these new ideas through concrete objects.

Wanted: Adults who can solve problems and think outside the box - Solution: Provide children materials to expand their minds and create new solutions.

Our world is in need of problem solvers and people who can think outside of the box. One way to accomplish this is to literally pave the education road with blocks of all sizes, magnets, marbles, crayons, listening centers, books, and ramps to allow their imaginations to soar, solve problems, and learn how to work well with other people. Who knew that the world could be changed for the better by simple items made of plastic, wood, and paper being placed into Kindergarten student hands?
