My Students

My second grade students love to learn! They are curious, conversational, and diverse. They range in abilities, ethinicities, and backgrounds but the one thing they have in common is their love for learning.

My students amaze me everyday with their thirst for knowledge and neverending curiosity.

They love to read and research. They love a challenge. But what they love most of all is technology! Chromebooks will allow them to be able to access technolgy during group work allowing them to enrich their learning, complete class projects, and develop skills they will need in the future.

My Project

My students are inspired and motivated by technology. I use technology to enhance and expand learning opportunities on a daily basis. Students have Google accounts and use Google Classroom to enrich learning and create collaborative projects like slideshows and reports. We use educational sites like Readworks, Epic and Prodigy to reinforce and develop skills. But currently many of my computers are older than my students! They all are hand me downs from friends or other teachers. My students deserve better!

My 21st Century learners deserve current technology to drive their inquiry and research!

Chromebooks will engage and motivate them in Reading, Writing, Math, and Science. There is no limit to their imagination, they shouldn't be limited by their resources. Please help my students prepare for their future by providing them with modern technology today!
