My Project

My students come from low income backgrounds with limited access to the technology they will need to keep up with today’s fast-paced world. Bringing smart technology into my classroom through Apple TV will allow me to streamline activities through our classroom projector so students can see their learning come to life. My students are dedicated workers that passionately try their best despite the challenges they face.

Having wireless Apple TV technology and new speakers will allow us to use videos and listening activities that will help all of my students, whether they be high achieving or need extra supports learning English.

In my social studies classroom, we learn about world cultures and geography by learning new vocabulary, identifying visual representations through maps and timelines, and discussing key ideas while building paragraphs. The opportunities this donation will bring my classroom will allow me to spend more time focusing on helping students engage in their learning and less time trying to overcome a lack of necessary resources that would connect them with their education.

My students deserve the best chance to be successful readers, writers and critical thinkers. Please consider helping me support these deserving students become tomorrow’s leaders! Thank you!
