My Project

My students are incredibly curious about the natural world, including plants and animals. In the new year, we will be learning about animal adaptations and habitats. To help us really understand this learning, we will be constructing our own animal habitats. One of the habitats that I hope to have my students build is a winter forest.

My students will use these materials to build a winter forest animal habitat for forest animals, and we will use these to learn about how animals adapt to their environments and habitats, including a forest.

These materials will allow them to play out their learning, using these materials to further their learning in hands-on, creative ways.
