Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Voting in today's election- Your voice has a vote! Educaton helps us make informed decisions. I teach grade 6 and everyone has an opinion, but they lack the knowledge to support their candidate.

I teach in an urban area where the students are interested in the world and upcoming election. I would like to use Time for Kids to help educate them on the candidates running, but there are no funds to pay for this subscription.

The Time for Kids magazine will allow the students to read about the candidates running for president. They will be able to make an informed and educated decision when choosing a candidate. I feel it is important to teach the youth that voting is essential in today's world and knowledge helps us make informed decisions.

With your help I hope to teach the students in my class that voting is essential for all citizens. I hope to teach them to read the facts when making important decisions. The students in my class will learn that they are the future of this country and should be aware of what is going on in the world around them now. I hope after this year of magazines they will be a well educated citizen thinking about the future of our country and the world.
