Help make volleyball a realistic endeavor for our students. I teach third grade in an extremely low-income area of Indiana. My school is very small and, like most schools, does have students with special needs.
The students at our school are being offered the chance to play volleyball as a team elementary school sport for the first time, ever. The problem is that there are no resources for me to teach the fundamentals of volleyball to my students. I would like to help them learn and practice volleyball techniques and learn the rules in order to be successful at the game.
My principal has agreed to supply the poles, which are the most expensive part of the volleyball system, if I can acquire a net, rule book and balls. Your generosity is the only way for me to make this possible for our school. This donation will impact every student in the school for many years to come. The teachers will teach the fundaments of volleyball during our Physical Education times and our Health activity time.
Please help make volleyball a real possibility for these students. With your help, they will be able to have success at the game and acquire the skills needed to succeed in the future. You are their only hope for this opportunity.
