My Students

Students at our school are excited to come to PE! They enjoy taking on challenges, trying new activities and are curious about what we will be doing each day. To me, this is the foundation for promoting lifelong physical activity and healthy living. I want to take advantage of their interest in PE and introduce them to as many activity options as possible while they're here. I firmly believe that if we can promote and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle at this age, we are helping guide children towards a lifetime of it!

My Project

We're looking to add a new, fun way to work on our hand-striking and catching skills in physical education.

Spikeball has entered the chat.

These Spikeball sets and extra balls, along with supplemental equipment we already have, will provide each student with an exciting way to work on their striking skills. Normally, you might be limited to a few games like volleyball for practice, but with these we will have a more adaptable way to work on mastering this physical skill (as well as get a great workout in!).

The spikeball sets will provide more options in applying practice to fun games that will keep them engaged and moving. Not to mention, it exposes them to yet another example that active living can be really fun!
