My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience and eagerness to communicate, despite facing challenges with speech and language. They come from diverse backgrounds, and many are learning English or have special communication needs. These resources will help me create engaging, hands-on activities that make learning fun and accessible for every child.

With books like The Name Jar and The Kissing Hand, I can introduce meaningful stories that foster language skills while celebrating identity and emotional understanding.

The plush raccoon and storytelling kits will help students connect to the stories on a personal level, reinforcing comprehension through play.

The category recognition games, storytelling cards, and sequencing tools will build essential skills like vocabulary, sentence structure, and critical thinking. These resources offer my students the opportunity to practice in ways that feel less like therapy and more like exploration.

The mirrors and emotion cards will allow us to work on social-emotional skills, helping students understand and express feelings while building confidence in their communication abilities. Whether through articulation exercises or social skills games, these materials will support each child on their unique journey.
