My Project

Project Title: "Voices for Mental Health: A Teen Empowerment Initiative"

Objectives:

Raise awareness about mental health issues that affect teens.

Promote healthy coping mechanisms and resources.m

Create a supportive community for sharing experiences and challenges.

Components:

Educational Workshops:

Topics: Host workshops on anxiety, depression, stress management, and self-care strategies. Invite mental health professionals to facilitate.

Interactive Activities: Include role-playing scenarios and discussions to help students practice coping strategies and communication.

Peer Support Groups:

Safe Spaces: Establish small, regular peer-led support groups where students can discuss their feelings and challenges in a secure environment.

Training: Train students to become facilitators, ensuring they can guide conversations and offer support.

Awareness Campaign:

Social Media Challenge: Create a challenge where students share positive mental health messages, coping strategies, or personal stories using a specific hashtag.

Poster and Art Display: Organize a school-wide art and poster contest focusing on mental health themes, culminating in an exhibition in a common area.

Resource Fair:

Interactive Activities: Include activities like stress ball-making or mindfulness exercises that students can participate in during the fair.
