My Project
Often, when students write, they use the same few vocabulary words over and over again. This is extremely common when English is not their first language and they are still learning English. Students should be constantly writing and improving their skills.
A thesuarus that a student can keep at their desk will be extremely beneficial.
With easy access to a thesaurus, students will be able increase their vocabulary. They will take the same word they constantly use and improve it with a "juicy" or more interesting word that they find in their thesaurus.
With a teachers pay teachers gift card, I will be able to find some great activities to use along with the thesaurus.
