Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help provide our classroom with materials to make visuals for learning in Preschool. I want all students regardless of their language or speaking ability to have signs with coordinating pictures representing different areas of the classroom.

Our visuals will use both words and pictures to display what the areas have in them, how many people can be in the area, and photos depicting real-life pictures in each area.

Visuals are an important part of learning for preschoolers. I have asked for laminating sheets, 3M wall posters, and 3M hooks for hanging signs in all areas of the classroom. For the block area, we want to display different buildings around the world for the children to replicate. In the playhouse area pictures of food from different cultures will be represented and displayed. In the science area nature and weather events will be displayed.
