My Project

I am requesting a white parachute and "Wikki Stix" for my students with multiple disabilities and visual impairments.

My students with multiple disabilities and visual impairments participate in "movement groups" with physical and occupational therapists.

The white parachute will create a high-contrast physical environment for my students during movement group.

The "Wikki Stix" will be used to create tactile cues for my students. Currently, we use "Wikki Stix" to add tactile cues to adapted games such as Tic-Tac-Toe. The "Wikki Stix" will also be used in other core subjects including reading, writing, and mathematics.
