My Students

My students are creative, curious, and caring. I love that the best part of my job is watching students grow in their academics but also within life. These students have found ways to preserve through a very challenging time during the pandemic. They have proven their strength and courage to continue to push through and grow. They have asked questions when they needed support, they have helped one another when they saw a peer in need, and they have allowed staff members grace as we have worked through the challenges we have never faced before. The best part of teaching is truly seeing the kids become all that they can be and helping them get there. Becoming a "family" is why I love what I do.

My Project

Providing visuals for our students to support their learning is often the key to their success. I have created this project to ask for support in funding tools that will provide my students with a visual example. The magnetic charts will help students organize their thoughts and put meaning into their work.

I have selected items carefully that support the standards, but also provide students with support in order to be the most successful.

I feel this project will help my students be more confident with their own independent skills. Thank you for considering our project.
