My Students

Over 90% of our student population receives free lunch. Many of my students travel over 90 minutes to have a free breakfast to start their day. The students, though highly economically disadvantaged, are always in school and on-time. They are always eager to learn through reading, demonstrations, and hands-on activities (their favorite). My students are dedicated, hard-working, and willing to think outside of the box to learn new skills and techniques.

They want to learn new strategies and critical thinking techniques to improve their understanding of their connected world.

They want to design experiments, gather data, and share their results with their peers. These students are always excited to apply themselves to explore and discuss new skills and topics.

The supplies purchased will help these students learn new skills but also teamwork, responsibility, dedication, and commitment. The students have pledged to become role-models by achieving high academic standards, assisting other students, and trying to become informed citizens.

My Project

My students will observe different paints, inks, and textures of different materials under the microscope and the endoscope. They will use the different inks on various substrates and cut them using the Cricut machine. The Cricut blades are designed to cut different materials into different shapes at specified depths. The samples will be analyzed under the microscope for science experiments.

The supplies are needed by the students to conduct a plethora of independent investigations.

The students will be able to design countless experiments and gather data to share with their peers.
