This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our student art show provides a platform for students to express their creative and artistic talents. Showcasing our student's artwork in a public setting boosts student confidence and self-esteem.

One of my goals of having a student art show is to encourage creativity by showcasing the artistic achievements of our students and show the importance of arts in education.

Our art show enhances school culture by fostering a sense of community and pride within our school. By inviting parents, friends, and local community members to our school art show, this can strengthen school-community ties.

We recently discarded our remaining, old, crumbling art display boards. For our school to have an art show that showcases the diverse amount of student works from our three visual arts educators, we need your help to replace and invest in new art display boards.

My art students at my high school spend countless hours honing their artistic skills and knowledge. They are creative, expressive and convey complex ideas through art that words cannot convey. Their artwork should be displayed as it has the power to bring people together, to inspire and make an impact on both our school and the broader community.
