This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, My name is Ms. C. and I teach fifth grade. This school year is going to be a great school year! I am excited to be part of a new team. My colleagues mentioned the idea of encouraging and teaching students about the various college and career opportunities.

I would like to display college flags or college stickers/tags in our classroom.

Teaching and exposing college bound ideas in elementary is important as it encourages students about their careers or after schooling. This project consists of another resource that we need.

Writers Workshop is a daily writing routine where students learn but they also get the opportunity to be creative and write narratives about themselves. NBA stickers and other items will be used to decorate and organize their personal writers notebooks.
