Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our math classroom, most of my students are visual learners, using manipulatives in the classroom will help them understand more. Manipulatives like the Math tiles increase student engagement and provide an access point to abstract concepts by serving as a concrete model of the math concept.

The white boards will be used for students to show their work and be able to collaborate with their peers.

They will be used for Do Nows and to record modeled strategies. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.The use of whiteboards can be a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math.
