My Project

In our classroom we do whole group instruction on a large screen television. Right now we are using a district laptop that is about 8 years old and runs very slowly. When students are waiting for websites and slide shows to load they quickly lose interest and have a hard time focusing on the lesson.

My students are visual learners who acquire knowledge at a faster rate when they can see concepts with pictures, words and videos.

Having a new computer that doesn't run slowly will help them be less frustrated and maintain focus for a longer period of time. This will make it easier for them to learn.
