Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of marking systems and visual cues such as anchor charts displayed throughout our classroom with help my students develop the decoding skills they will need to be successful readers.

I am planning to use the printer I am asking for to print individualized anchor charts and other small group pintables to help our students learning.

One of the many tools I plan to create are decoding charts otherwise known as marking systems. Marking systems help the brain to improve your students to learn the structure of words. With the understanding of a marking system, my students will understand the patterns of words and increase their decoding strategies. I plan to create visual graphs and other study guides with for my students such as decoding marking system posters and individual graphs. I hope to laminate these throughout the lessons and display them throughout the room. The items on my donors choose list will help make learning easier and fun this year for our students!
