My Students

"Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world." -Nelson Mandela A typical day in my classroom starts off with a hug! School is a place where my students feel welcome and loved every day.

My Kindergarten babies come from many different walks of life.

My classroom is composed of a large percentage of students receiving free/reduced price lunch, as well as a variety of ethnic backgrounds. My sweet, energetic babies come to school excited and eager to learn.

My Project

I am requesting an ELMO Visual Presenter Document Camera and a Wireless Pen Tablet. My classroom is full of different learning styles but a large percentage of my students are Visual and Kinesthetic Learners. I have had several students in my room with vision problems and could not complete work without extra support. I believe the ELMO Visual Presenter Document Camera could be a vital teaching tool to reaching all learners. I am requesting the Wireless Pen Tablet for teacher and student use to help improve classroom management and keep children actively engaged in lessons.

I will use the ELMO Visual Presenter and Wireless Pen Tablet every day in my classroom.

The options are endless. We can use it to model math manipulates, read stories, complete shared writing activities, study science projects, and even Skype pen pals in other countries. This will greatly improve the learning experience in my classroom and I am excited to use these products next year. Thanks in advance for your support and dedication to helping improve the quality of learning in my classroom!
