Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are eager, excited and ready to learn. They are passionate about exploration, learning about each other, and learning about the world.

Our school is right in the middle of bustling New York City.

Our students travel from all five boroughs to attend. We are not a community school. Our school is made up of working families that travel to the area, and also of families that gravitate toward our values and school philosophy.

My Project

The use of a simple monitor will help enhance our learning experience all around. Our literacy learning will be greatly enhanced through the ability to display digital books and phonics lessons. The monitor will also be used to enhance our music, science and math curriculums.

With the help of a monitor in our classroom, we would be able to see our school community during larger remote community meetings.

Our students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
