My Project

The use of virtual learning is almost a daily activity in our lives and classroom. My students have physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities that hinder traditional classroom learning. Using the Meta 2 model in Occupational Therapy, students come to the OT room with a new sense for guided learning and to record enhance and visual perceptual strategies. The Meta 2 allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy opportunity for them to have fun and share their achievements with clasmates. This system breaks up behavior problems as students attempt to improve focusing to achieve the goal to use the system as a reward. Even though the students find it a challenge to reduce self motivating behavior

they are willing to try to gain access to this new technology and explore their new physical movements and educational outlook and maybe participate in a team sport such as Basketball.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material while exploring a new technological goal. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology.
