My Students

Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.

I am dedicated to my students.

It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.

Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.

My Project

For this project I am asking for a monitor and adaptor to connect with my laptop for virtual teaching. Right now, my school is in person but we are preparing for the possibility of closing due to COVID-19. After several trials and practice sessions, several teachers and I have determined that we need a monitor to be able to share our screen with the students while continuing to see the students on Microsoft Teams.

These virtual teaching supplies allow me the opportunity to provide feedback and interact with each student.

Much like I would if we were in the classroom.

I want to provide my students with the best education possible, even from a distance. They deserve it!
