My Students

My middle school students are eager scientists in training! In our class, students can't wait to inquire about different phenomena that take place around us. They love to engage in hands-on activities and experiments to form their scientific understandings. They have the perfect attitude- positive, curious and resilient. They will work hard through each unit, so they can keep learning more.

Every year, I feel so lucky to work with such motivated students ready for the challenges that our science classroom brings!

Before they even step foot into our class I'm greeted with questions- "What are we learning today, Mrs. Kim? Are we doing a lab today? Can you tell me what we're going to do today?" They push me to be a better teacher every day and I happily do it because my students absolutely deserve it!

My Project

Everyday of science distance learning, I'm stuck at my desk. Science is not meant to be stationary. Help me get my virtual science instruction on the move! With Airpods, I will be able to finally move out of my seat without worrying whether my students can hear me clearly or not.

The airpods will help me bring the more engaging elements of science into my virtual classroom!

I will be able to move during instruction, properly record science demonstrations, and even take my classes on personal virtual science field trips. Help me give clear audio to my science classroom because my students deserve it!
