Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a second and third-grade teacher in a low-income, high-poverty school district. I have a class of wonderful second and third graders that consists of English language learners, special education students, and general education students who come from various ethnic backgrounds. Despite the many challenges my students face, my students come to school eager to learn and strive to do better. They ask questions and are not afraid to take risks or make mistakes.

My students are creative and active second and third graders who are passionate about their work and projects.

I want to give my amazing students the skills and tools to be their very best selves.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find different ways to teach students, written and developed by teachers for teachers.

I have used Teachers Pay Teachers as a learning go-to source and find it a valuable tool to be able to reach all the learning styles of students. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students. There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students during the 2020-2021 school year and for many years to come, and this gift card could put them right into my fingertips. Every year, I utilize the website Teachers Pay Teachers to find lessons and projects that extend what I am teaching my students.
