Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Virtual reality (VR) is controlled, repeatable, and safe for my students. It can be used for learning and evaluation of children and it can help them practice communication and social skills. Virtual reality can boost my students' confidence in social interactions, both in the virtual and real world. It can give them exposure to things they would not usually be exposed to.

Virtual reality can open a whole new world for my students.

I would be able to create virtual simulations of real-world scenarios such as outdoor spaces and museums in other countries, providing students with the opportunity to explore and learn in a way that would otherwise be impossible. VR can also help my students with sensory overload by providing a calm and distraction-free environment that promotes learning. Virtual reality headsets can help bring my students closer to realizing their full potential.
