Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are caring, loving, and eager to learn children. Every day they step into the classroom with smiles on their faces ready to learn. Many of my students are below grade standard in reading, writing, and math. However, that does not prevent them from trying and asking their teacher and peers for help.

These students are persistent and determined about achieving their goals.

This school is a Title I school which means that most of the students come from low income families. One hundred percent of my students come from low socioeconomic families, and 100 percent of them receive free lunch. However, this does not stop my students from becoming excited to learn so they can become tomorrow's engineers, dancers, scientists, writers, and artists.

My Project

With my students learning from home, I would like to provide my students with digital resources that they can use at home and provide worksheets in different subject areas. My students love the fun math coloring sheets and the fun sight coloring sheets. Since students are learning from home, TeachersPayTeachers has fun digital games for students to access using their laptops while they are home.

Teachers Pay Teachers has so many great resources that are differentiated for my unique learners and ready to use.

The gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers will not only allow digital resources but also provide access to printed materials. When my students need some off-screen time, they can continue learning using worksheets. Since all the resources are downloaded from the website, I can continue to use them for many more years to come.
