My Students

Creativity, imagination, problem solving, and collaboration are key components to authentic learning in our classroom. I have high expectations for every student. It is my responsibility to provide a variety of learning opportunities to help each child meet or exceed their goals. Our school is a K-2 school with approximately 1,100 children enrolled.

We have a diverse population of ethnic backgrounds, a growing ELL population, a high percentage of students who need accelerated learning opportunities, and students who need reading and math interventions to help them establish a firm foundation for successful learning.

My Project

I'm starting the school year teaching in school, but I need to be prepared when we go virtual due to Covid-19. I will be able to connect my Macbook Air to the monitor using the cable. The ring light is needed so students can clearly see me during the live virtual lessons.

From home, I can use the monitor to display all twenty students clearly during our live Microsoft Teams meetings while I show my lessons and activities on my Macbook Air for them.

This monitor and halo light are necessary so I can see all of my students, provide feedback and interact with each one.

I want to provide the best possible instructions and lessons for my students to engage in the learning process regardless of distance.
