This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach students in an urban area. The students receive reduced/free lunch. The students that I serve are smart, inspiring, resilient and beautiful! Despite the challenging situations that my students see and experience, they continue to smile and is always ready to learn!
My students are loving, charismatic and fun!
Each student is always excited to learn new things and engage in activities. They are an amazing group of kids and I am honored to be able to teach them!
My Project
The materials will help support my preschoolers learn virtually! Young children will need to have hands-on material to engage and interact with during their learning experience. My students learn through play and discovery and the materials listed can help them get that experience while learning at home!
This will support my students learning and it provides them with supplies that will help them develop the skills needed for school.
The backpack of supplies gives students a variety of materials that will support them in literacy and math. Students will be able to count with manipulatives using one to one correspondence, identify and practice working with plastic letters and writing the letters of the alphabet in their journal. This is a great resource for students to use at home so they will be able to adapt to what is used in the classroom when they return!
