This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I'm so fortunate to be able to be home with my family and stay safe. I'm constantly thinking about my students, who I know aren't as lucky. I teach in Philadelphia at a Title I school in a Autistic Support Classroom. All of our work is done in small groups and on interventions curriculum that I no longer have access to. We are completely locked out.

My Project

I want to send them goodies for my students and their new teacher in charge "Mom". I added to the list some snacks for the kiddos and tea bags for their mother. I am asking some game cards for each of my students, that way they can forget about their virtual leaning, their video games and spend some quality time with their family.

I had created a classroom that my kiddos use to call their second home, which is sad not have access to it with all their belongings and resources.

I'm asking for label sheets and boxes to mail them activities, materials and manipulatives to make their virtual learning more interesting. The rest of the materials are to create them the learning supplies and resources that they need to success the rest of this new learning experience.
