This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn" Ignacio Estrada. This quote sits near my heart and expresses my feelings for how so many children are left behind because of the lack of differentiation in the classroom. I choose to teach virtually because many families have chosen to go this route and these students need instruction that meets all of their needs!

I am asking for help getting iPads for my 48 First and Second grade virtual learners.

These young students need the right tools to learn from home. I work in a Title 1 school with the majority of my learners living in low income homes. The families of my students can not afford to buy the technology the children need. Unfortunately the district provides outdated technology that my students struggle with.
