My Students

I am living the dream teaching fifth graders in my hometown! Serving alongside my former teachers is the coolest experience! I serve a diverse group of kids who have many different interests and unique learning styles. This year, I will be taking on the challenge of teaching the fifth grade students of Noble virtually! I'm excited to take my students on a world-wide adventure as we dive into curriculum in a new and exciting way.

My virtual classroom will provide opportunities for my students that cannot be offered in a normal classroom setting.

I am bringing education into the twenty-first century and cannot wait to get started! My hope is to empower students with the life skills necessary to navigate these uncharted waters and bring them hope! This is my hope and my mission for each generation that walks into my classroom.

My Project

One of the biggest challenges my students faced this year as virtual learners was their ability to see the connection between the various activities and assignments for some of our units--especially those they did completely asynchronous.

To help them in making these connections throughout each unit, students can use these notebooks & highlighters to review important information throughout the unit.

Students will then use this information to create cumulative projects to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the content! I am very excited to provide them a place that isn't digital for them to record their learning and understanding!
