My Students

My students are primarily Spanish and Chinese ESL learners. Many come from low income homes since their families are new to the United States. They are very visual learners and learn best hands on. They are very outgoing and talkative and love to work on the computer. They enjoy printing out pictures to help them learn and also printing out their completed projects. They would love to have their work in their hands in color to take home with them.

My Project

My little first graders will be learning remotely with me this year. It is hard for them to sit in front of a screen all day. I am looking for help so that I can support them in as many ways as I can. I want to have the best resources available for virtual activities. I want to be able to give my little learners as many resources and hands on experiences I can while they are learning with me from home. First grade is an important and crucial time in their lives and it sets the foundation for their future. I will make them be the best they can be!
