My Students
Our students love music. Music gives them an overall vitality and enthusiasm for life and provides them with a deep sense of accomplishment and self-worth. They learn to work cooperatively with their peers, focus on instruction and most of all, experience the joy of making music.
Our school is located in a low-income urban neighborhood.
The school is an important part of the community and families depend on us for a high quality, well-rounded education for their children. We want to give our students the chance to study music.
My Project
My students need sixteen violin string sets to keep their instruments maintained.
Our students are enthusiastic learners and love music.
Many of the students have signed up to learn to play the violin. We want to give them that opportunity and keep instruments maintained and playable.
We are a high needs school. Eighty-five percent of our students qualify for free lunch. Our music program is growing and we need supplies to service the students who want and deserve to take music classes.
Your donation will make a huge difference in our program by helping us to continue the good work that we are doing in our music program. As more and more students enroll in the program, we need to provide those students with supplies as well as instruments.
When students know that there are people out there who care, they find a new vitality and enthusiasm for what they are doing. Your donation will help keep our program going and students engaged.
