My Students

My students started their journey three years ago as string ensemble musicians. In order to allow students to practice at home, we need new violin bows for students to take home and use during their practice as well as cello cases to transport their instruments home to practice!

Many of my students come from struggling backgrounds and music allows them to express themselves creatively as individuals and as a team.

In music class, my students explore singing, playing instruments, and all kinds of music in the world around them. As the music program expands, I would love for all of my students to continue having the necessary materials they need to learn and make music!

My Project

My students need new violin bows and cello cases! The new violin bows would replace the old bows that no longer work so that students are able to create new sounds, and the cello cases are for my students to carry the instruments back and forth from school and home to practice! Having these materials are essential for my students to continue the learning in their own homes as well as in the classroom.

Playing an instrument with the proper learning materials and being part of an ensemble are unique opportunities that I want my students to have as they continue to grow as musicians.
