Help Mrs. Boula

Help students succeed in understanding vigorous vocabulary essential to comprehension in all content areas.

I teach in a rural title 1 school. Many of these students are not exposed to vigorous vocabulary that is essential to their comprehension in different content areas. These students have difficulty understanding and connecting to literature due to their lack of vocabulary.

Through hands on games that build vocabulary students will begin to expand their knowledge of words and meanings in a fun and interesting way. Building this vocabulary will help them become stronger in their comprehension skills. This will help to make them stronger readers and writers in all content areas.

With your help we can expose these students to new and vigorous vocabulary that they can take with them throughout life. We will be expanding their knowledge in numerous ways in numerous content areas.
