My Students

My students are loving and caring children. They come to school ready to learn and are motivated!

They work hard on their assignments and strive to do their best.

They come from low income housing where they all receive school breakfast and lunch. Some come from other countries, and are learning English.

They love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.) They are often looking for new ways to be future innovators! I know they love school and I hope to keep them engaged all year long!

My Project

My students will be working on creating their own video game using the Scratch coding website. In order to create our best work we need some literary resources in using the Scratch website. These books will be used side-by-side with the Scratch.com website to create our very own video games.

Students in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) lab will have the opportunity to learn coding and programming through this video game making website.

This project will be an engaging way to get my students excited for Science and Engineering! These skills are so important for my students to become successful in the future.
