Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We will utilize the camera and microphone kit as a tool for taking pictures, recording events, making movies, and documenting the events in writing or through project presentations. With a video/photo camera, students will be able to record events at school and then utilize the video to help them describe the event with details using their five senses. Students will also be able to take pictures during school events like winter performances, school plays, and school presentations in order to transcribe their experiences with details during Writer's Workshop.

My English Language Learners will benefit greatly from visual cues that can help them express their ideas with descriptive language.

Students will also be able to create movies with the pictures they take. They will be able to record their oral presentations with ease. We will be able to record their dance or theater performances as well.
