Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach math and science to 3rd-grade students at a Title I campus. My students love to learn new things; technology being number 1 on that list.

Most of my students are second language learners.

Ninety percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Their parents work two and three jobs to take care of them. They want their children to have so much more than they have. Education is extremely important. By sharing technology with my students, I show them that there is a future in education.

My Project

Our robotics team is growing. More and more students want to be a part of our team. Unfortunately, we are limited because of our lack of equipment.

Robotics is a growing field that offers a future for many students.

Offering robotics to my students, gives them a window to a career they didn't know was possible.

The equipment I am looking to get will allow us to offer robotics to more students. This kit will give us all of the supplies to build another robot in addition to providing additional supplies for the robots we have.
