My Students

I co-teacher a Outdoor P.E. class at Noble High School. During Covid we had a in person and virtual class enrollment of over 150 students. Our in-person enrollment this semester is 70 students. Our students enjoy participating in N.A.S.P. and Varsity archery, along with many other outdoor activities and lessons. The majority of the students are extremely involved in the program which gives students the opportunity experience activities they might not receive from home.

My Project

We start our archery programs in September and practice through February. We take students to multiple archery shoots and compete at the state archery shoot sponsored by the Oklahoma Wildlife Department in February. Our students are allowed to check-out bows to practice at home and the Varsity bows can also be legally used for deer hunting in Oklahoma. The biggest problem we have is not enough bows for student use in class, if successful these new bows will help alleviate that issue and allow us to put a bow in all students hands.
