Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a great bunch of kids that unfortunately were heavily impacted by the pandemic at a most critical time; the end of their first-grade year. Fundamental learning happens in first and second grade and my students were forced to Zoom classes. Nothing beats classroom learning and most of my students are working below grade level.

My goal for my students is to use Time for Kids to increase their guided reading levels as it provides critical thinking skills.

The TPT gift card would allow me to purchase essential teacher-tested resources and interactive learning tools and the 180 Days of Practice 4 Book Bundle would allow me to incorporate these quick, diagnostic-based activities into their daily instruction. Typically, 1/5th of my class are English Language Learners and they would definitely benefit.
