Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have been diagnosed with various forms of disabilities, but their primary disability is autism and speech impairment. My students have extreme difficulties and deficits in the areas of language and social functioning, and they exhibit repetitive behaviors, interests, or activities and differences in sensory input.

Although each of my students exhibits sensory input in their own unique way, through effective strategies, their unique needs are addressed to enable them to learn.

One of these strategies is through the implementation of the sensory approach and social skills activities.

My Project

The Science Lab Designer Cut-outs color will be used for the student's bulletin boards, patterning, notes, desk tags, or art project. The primary sensory input will assist my student in developing their senses and encourage science exploration.

The primary science set provides hands-on early science investigations and a colorful and durable set features measurement markings.

The ten double-sided activity cards cover science process skills, living and nonliving things, physical science, senses, etc. The Evan-moor - Science centers will enable my students to explore standards-based science concepts and vocabulary using daily lessons works sheets and a variety of rich resources including vocabulary practice, hands-on science activities, and comprehension.
