My Students

1st and 2nd graders are at the perfect age! They are inquisitive, eager, and enthusiastic learners. They experience so much growth, academically as well as emotionally. They love coming to school and learning new things... but they need to be in school.

We have so much learning to do and we can only do that with GOOD ATTENDANCE!

My students live in a low socioeconomic urban area and do not have access to many opportunities. We are at a Title I school that serves one of the poorest areas in Los Angeles County. My students need to have good attendance. Although we are washing our hands often and cleaning a lot more, my students are still absent because they get sick.

My Project

My students are finally back in school! But in order to learn, they need to be physically in class.

Germs be gone!

Even though we are wearing masks, some of my students are still getting sick. Therefore I am cleaning desks and surfaces daily, sometimes twice a day. In order to do this, I need the supplies needed to clean. We are constantly using hand sanitizer and I even have sanitizer monitors. A touchless hand sanitizer machine and hand sanitizer would help kill the germs. Disinfectant wipes will also make sure germs on surfaces are killed.
